I believe the goal of life itself is just to be. It is on going re-definition of the self. I beleve the goal of life should be to find oneself truly, then i believe you can say you have lived a true life.
I believe the goal of life over all is to continue on. Nothing we know of is immortal in a true sense, so life compinsates by reproduction. All beings, in some way or another, have the desire to reproduce. It is one goal, i believe, that all organisms share. Humans though have the ability and the will to go above the basic need to just reproduce. We can think, ponder philosophy, love, etc. the goal of human life is more coplicated.
personally, i understand the goal of life is to continue on no matter what and when we reach the end to be able to look back and not regret and have a true understanding of ourselves.

Truth
I have already talked about truth in the previous entry. I think truth is something that can be explained with hard evidence. This is my general view of truth. However, I know that there are some truths that cannot be explained with hard evidence, you must just accept them as truths. An example; to know someone loves you it is through their actions that you can accept their love as a truth. There is no hard evidence, only actions. So maybe, truth is found individually on some levels. There are things, scientific (or craft) like things that are truths even if you do not believe they are truths. I guess you must test everything for yourself and not trust what anyone else says until you have tested and proven it for yourself to be true.

First Philosophy Blog
Well, here goes...
I think these blogs are going to be a random string of thoughts... lets hope they are coherant enough (i am also not that good of a speller, so please dont make fun)
So, philosophy is the search for the truth. How do we really know what the truth is when we find it? How can we know the truth it the "truth" is constantly changing? Years ago people thought the world was flat... that was their truth. Now we know the earth is round and that is our truth. But the truth has changed, flat to round is a great deal of change. Its a tough think to grasp, at least for me. I like to know what is true, but what i think is true could be an untruth. "Never believe anything that anyone tells you until you have tested it for yourself and know it to be true" I believe thats some of the best life advice i have ever gotten.
Can there ever be one philisophical truth? There always seems to be a philosophy contradicting someone elses philosophy.
"All I know is that I think." If thats all i KNOW... thats frightening, but maybe im making up this computer, this room, maybe nobody actualy reads this, but i just make up people that read this blog. Thoughts like that make my head hurt because until i die, and maybe not even then, i will never know if there is even a "reality" or if its just my own litle world and everyone else is just constructed as i walk past them.
